Participants Accept All Risk

 

All participants in this event must agree that they are physically fit and sufficiently trained for the competition and that they are participating in this event at their own risk. As a condition of participating in this event, participants agree to the following statement:

 

Waiver/Release

In consideration of your accepting this entry, I, the undersigned for and on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors administrators, intending to be legally bound, hereby release and discharge the Fr. O’Neill Council K of C, all sponsors, all volunteers, Race Director and agents and employees from any and all claims, demands or liability whatsoever, including, but not limited to claims for personal injury or property damage, that I may have at any time arising out of, resulting from, or otherwise in connection with the race, competition and/or event.I hereby represent, warrant and acknowledge that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained for the competition and that I am participating in this event at my own risk. All race entries/participants shall be bound by all applicable laws of the United States and the State of Maryland. The appropriate Maryland federal or state court shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any action or dispute arising from this agreement or in any way relating to this race.
